In a devastating incident on Wednesday afternoon, Greensboro police responded to reports of an officer-involved shooting at a Food Lion grocery store located on Lawndale Drive. Officer Michael Horan, a 10-year veteran of the Greensboro Police Department, was shot and later succumbed to his injuries.
