Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that it will cease support for its game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, effective January 2025. The decision follows significant criticism and disappointment from the gaming community regarding the game’s performance and overall design. “We appreciate the support from our community and have made the difficult decision to pull the plug on new content for the game as we prepare for our next steps,” a representative from Rocksteady stated. The announcement comes as the studio rolls out its final update, which includes the introduction of an offline mode and the popular character Deathstroke now available for players. Rocksteady’s updates aimed to address some of the issues raised by the community; however, they ultimately found that the feedback did not align with the product’s direction. With this decision, players can expect a shift in focus from ongoing content development to other projects within the studio while the game will no longer receive new content post-Season 4.
