The Tampa Bay Rays have officially announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Jackie Robinson Grant Program. This initiative is designed to support community organizations that provide educational opportunities and resources to underserved youth. Interested candidates can apply for grants up to $10,000, aimed at funding programs based on education, sports, and arts. Applications will remain open until April 14, 2025. Rays senior vice president, Rays Foundation Executive Director, and 2023 Board Chair of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Rachael L. Kachur stated, “We are proud to continue the legacy of Jackie Robinson through this grant program that empowers youth and organizations that share his commitment to education and community engagement.” Additionally, the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarship applications for students seeking financial assistance for college education, furthering Robinson’s legacy of championing equal opportunities in education.
