RAGBRAI 2025 Route Announced: Journey Begins in Orange City, Iowa

The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) has announced its highly anticipated route for 2025, set to begin in Orange City, Iowa, on July 21. This year’s journey extends over seven days, featuring a diverse array of towns including Cedar Falls, Guttenberg, Iowa Falls, and Milford among the overnight stops. Cyclists from across the nation are expected to partake in this iconic event, a weeklong celebration of community, cycling, and Iowa’s landscape. This year’s route will cover approximately 450 miles, promising both seasoned riders and newcomers a challenging yet enjoyable experience. RAGBRAI Director, Tami Barlow, highlighted the significance of the event, stating, ‘Each town brings its own flavor, and participants will experience the vibrant communities along the route. We can’t wait for everyone to come together for this incredible journey.’ The event will conclude in the historic riverside town of Guttenberg, which is known for its beautiful scenery along the Mississippi River. Registration will open on February 1, allowing riders to secure their spots for what is expected to be an exhilarating adventure.
