Nominations Open for BCPS Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year

The Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) are currently seeking nominations for the Principal of the Year and the Assistant Principal of the Year. This annual recognition celebrates exceptional leadership within the BCPS system. Nominations can be submitted by parents, teachers, students, and community members across the school district. The selection process emphasizes qualities such as impactful leadership, commitment to student success, and contribution to the school community. The nomination forms must be submitted by January 15, 2024. “We encourage all stakeholders to recognize the hard work and dedication of our school leaders who make significant differences in the lives of our students and communities,” said BCPS Acting Superintendent, Dr. Amy A. Adams. Once the nominations are collected, a panel will review the submissions and select the respective award winners, who will be announced in March 2024. Both winners will be honored at a special ceremony held later in the year. For more information on the nomination process and to access forms, visit the BCPS website.
