Dylan Dreyer Reflects on Childhood Home and Parenting Journey

Dylan Dreyer, the well-known host of NBC’s ‘Today,’ recently took a nostalgic trip back to her childhood home in Manalapan, New Jersey. In an exclusive interview, she shared that the home she grew up in is ‘so different’ from her current residence in Manhattan. Dreyer, who now lives in a modern apartment with her family, expressed her fond memories of the simpler times spent in her childhood house. She described her parents, who still live in the home, as keeping it exactly as she remembers it, from the layout to the décor. Her experiences in that home laid the groundwork for her life today. In addition to her personal reflections, Dreyer opened up about her parenting approach. She mentioned that she has created a detailed list for her in-laws when they babysit her three children – Calvin, Oliver, and Miles, aged 6, 2, and 10 months, respectively. ‘I want to make sure they have everything they need to feel comfortable and confident while watching the kids,’ she stated, emphasizing her desire for smooth transitions. Dreyer’s dedication to family is evident not only in the careful planning for her children but also in maintaining a close relationship with her own parents, who have been supportive throughout her career. She encourages other parents to communicate clearly with caregivers to ensure everyone is on the same page as she is doing.
