Hampton sprinter Jamari Wright led the charge with a record-setting 60-meter dash time of 6.98 seconds, contributing significantly to their overall performance. Coach Maurice Pierce noted, ‘We’ve been aiming high this season, and breaking three school records so early shows that our athletes have been putting in the work.’ Meanwhile, Princeton University rounded out the weekend with a promising display at the Penn Open, with athletes like Leif O’Rourke and Ellen Decker delivering standout performances.
