In a heartwarming effort to give back to the community, the owner of the popular local eatery, which had initially started with the idea of providing a Thanksgiving meal for those in need, has partnered with staff members to expand this initiative. The restaurant will serve a free Thanksgiving meal on November 23, 2024, from 12 PM to 3 PM at their location, inviting families who might be struggling this year. Owner Jamie Smith expressed his motivation for the event, stating, ‘I believe it’s important to help those who are struggling, especially during the holidays. Everyone deserves a meal and some laughter.’ The goal is to prepare over 200 meals and deliver as many as possible to those unable to attend in person. Community members are also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items or monetary contributions to support the cause.
