Among the vibrant celebrations, poetry and performances were organized, reflecting on women’s rights and empowerment.
Notably, in a powerful display of activism, thousands of individuals participated in marches across major cities, including New Delhi and Mumbai. Protesters raised their voices for equal rights, gender equality, and safety of women, demanding an end to violence and discrimination. Activists carried banners reading slogans such as ‘We are Strong, We are Powerful’ while calling attention to the pressing issues affecting women in the society today. Renowned activist Farah Khan stated, ‘Today we march not just for ourselves, but for every woman who has faced injustice and inequality.’
