Notably, the documentary ‘Paris is Burning’ (1990) has also been honored, showcasing the vibrant drag-ball culture of New York City. Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden stated, “These films not only entertain but also tell our nation’s stories and reflect our struggles and triumphs.” Other additions include classics such as ‘The Joy Luck Club’ (1993) and ‘The Incredibles’ (2004).
